From May 20th to June 27th Venice Design Biennial presents 5 exhibitions located in the most iconic and monumental venues in Venice, bringing design and creativity back into our everyday life and connecting Italian and international designers to the urban structure of the city.
The theme of 2021, the year of the third edition, is “Design as self-portait“.
Past Forward. Designers from the Land of Venice is the exhibition that shows at the Archaeological Museum of Venice, in Piazza San Marco, the works of 16 designers who now live and work in Venice and its territory .
Among these stand out the Drops coffee tables, designed by Zanellato / Bortotto, whose shapes and finishes give life to an unprecedented combination of shades inspired by water and its movements.

At SPARC * – Spazio Arte Contemporanea, next to the Accademia bridge, in the heart of Venice, for Design as self-portrait part I, Elisa Ossino exhibits “Una stanza tutta per sé”, an exhibition in which the infinite shades of copper and brass are shaped into a piece of art.
