Lobby Beirut

Lobby Beirut

For this lobby in Beirut, De Castelli created a personalized mosaic to get a pixelated and dynamic effect with a powerful and elegant mood. A mosaic pattern of square tiles and bands in different lengths and varying finishes create a personalized lively graphic on the walls and the ceiling. The vibrant brass and stainless steel surfaces in custom striped DeLabré and satin finishes amaze with unexpected bright effects. Tiles and bands are positioned on panels in a deliberately random way to create a game with the light meeting the metal surfaces oriented in different directions. The effect is further enhanced by integrated lighting elements that seem to pop out from under some tiles.
